SCHEDULE AND GUIDELINES
PLEASE READ THE TESTING GUIDELINES IN ITS ENTIRETY. FAILURE TO FOLLOW PROCEDURES COULD RESULT IN A TEST BEING FORFEITED.
Please find attached the schedule for the TGCFSC July 11 test session. As you know, in our current Covid environment, we need to be sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our skaters, coaches, families, volunteers and judges. Saying that, we will have very specific restrictions and expectations for anyone entering the rink that day. Please see the list below. If you have any questions, please let me know as soon as possible.
Before coming to the rink, it is expected that anyone(skater, coaches, families) attending the test session will be symptom free. Symptoms such as cough, sore throat, fever, aches, etc… If you are not symptom free please do not come to the rink. You will only be putting others at risk.
Everyone entering the facility is required to wear a face mask at all times, except possibly on the ice (this is subject to change). If you do not have a mask, they will be available for purchase in the pro shop. These requirements are put in place by the city of Sugar Land and can be accessed via the following link.
The test session will be held in Rink B (in the door and to the left). We ask all skaters, coaches and families to maintain social distancing guidelines. Skaters will not be allowed into the arena until right before their test. No one will enter the arena without having their temperature taken. If anyone has a fever they will be asked to leave the premises.
There will be separate areas assigned for each coach and skater for their tests. Please adhere to your assigned area.
Skaters that are to report to the judges are NOT to go all the way to the wall. They are to maintain a safe distance from the judges.
Once the skater is finished testing, they are welcome to wait in the bleachers with their family or wait in the rink B lobby for their results. Results will be put in an envelope and placed in a basket for the coach to pick up. The results will be available outside of the sound booth. Once the results are picked up, we ask the skater and their family to leave the arena.
If you have music to be played for your test, please email it to MUSIC@TEXASGULFCOASTFSC.ORG. Under no circumstance will we accept CD’s, Phones, MP3’s, etc… If you need assistance, please let me know. If we dont have your music on test day, you will skate without it.
Under no circumstance will a skater, coach or family member be allowed to enter the sound booth. Any and all questions should be directed to the check in table.
We thank you for your understanding during these times and know we are doing what is best for everyone. Please let me know if you have any questions.
